I’m Chris Turner, the bloke behind Grinder Kustom Art.

I make one-off pieces from scrap metal, found objects and other people’s junk. I’ve always liked giving old, forgotten bits and pieces a new life, turning things that would normally end up in the bin into something worth looking at.

There’s no real blueprint to it. I see a piece of scrap, an old part or some random bit of junk and start thinking about what it could become.

Everything is made by hand, one piece at a time, with a bit of grinding, welding, cutting and plenty of imagination.

Basically, I make art out of junk. And I reckon the best stuff is usually the stuff nobody else wanted.
